July 13, 1997 - Doctors' Prognosis Good For Peter
A Swedish specialist says the only survivor of the Baileyton shootings might be able to walk again, but how well remains unknown. Two year old Peter Lillelid was wounded in the eye and chest in the shooting that killed his father, mother, and sister. Earlier this month, the child was taken to Sweden after custody was granted to an aunt. Doctors say Peter Lillelid has a good prognosis for recovery from his injuries. Meanwhile, preliminary and transfer hearings are set for this week for the suspects in the shootings.
