March 17, 1998 - Prisoners Transferred
Two of the six Kentuckians sentenced to life in prison without parole have been transferred out of Greene County.

21 year old Joseph Risner and 20 year old Edward Dean Mullins were transferred early this morning to Brushy Mountain State Prison in Morgan County.

The three females and juvenile male remain at the Detention Center are also expected to be transferred within the next week.
Crystal Sturgill, Natasha Cornett and Karen Howell will be transferred to the Women's Prison in Nashville, while Jason Bryant will be transferred to a Juvenile facility until he turns 18.

The six were sentenced last Friday for their involvement in the April 1997 Roadside murders of three members of the Lillelid Family off I-81 in Greene County.
