AM 1450, WSMG, was Greeneville's third radio station.  It was purchased by Radio Greeneville, Inc., in August of 2000.  In September, 2001, we made the switch to an Oldies Music format. Our Music Director, Nathan Humbard, has one of the largest personal collections of music in the area.  And he knows EVERYTHING about the music.  Know three of four words in a song?  Nathan can tell you the title, artist, when the song was released, how high it charted, the record label, and about anything else you can think of.  His personal record collection includes a copy of every single record that has ever charted on the Billboard Top 100 since the charts began.   And that's just the beginning of his collection.  With Nathan's extensive knowledge, we've built on of the most complete libraries in Oldies Radio - all in digital format.  We've categorized them as Teen Idols, Easy Listening, Core Rock 'n' Roll, British Invasion, Beach Music and more.  We've got 'em all.  If you remember a song and want to hear it again, go to our Request page and fill out the form.  We'll play it.  Even if you remember only a few words, send it to us and we'll try to find it.
